The $10,000
AI Consultant Prompt

Three copy-paste prompts that turn Claude into the AI consultant you'd normally pay thousands for. It interviews you about your business, finds where you're bleeding the most time, tells you exactly what to connect and how, then builds the automations for you as skills. No coding, no terminal.

3 Prompts · ~30 Minutes · No Code

What This Is

Ask Claude to make your business more money

I asked Claude one simple thing: where can I save the most time and money in my business, and can you go build those automations for me?

It interviewed me like a consultant, found the tasks eating my week, told me exactly which tools to connect, then built the automations as reusable skills. Now it saves me hours every single week, on autopilot.

These are the exact three prompts. You don't need to be technical. You copy, you paste, you answer questions like you're on a call. Claude does the rest.

The one rule that matters: the quality of what it builds is 100% downstream of how much you tell it in the interview. Don't rush that part. Answer like you're actually paying for the call.

Before You Start

The 2-minute setup

Run these inside the Claude app (claude.ai or the desktop app), not your phone. Three things to know, then you're off:

1

Connectors

How Claude plugs into your tools (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, your CRM). They live under Settings then Connectors. You don't connect anything yet. Prompt 1 tells you exactly which ones and when.

2

Skills

Reusable instruction files Claude follows every time, so you never re-explain a task. This is how your automations get saved and re-run forever.

3

The Skill Creator

The built-in skill that builds your other skills for you. Prompt 1 checks it's turned on and walks you through enabling it if it isn't. You don't need to hunt for it.

That's it. Open a fresh chat and paste Prompt 1.

Prompt 1 — The Consultant

The one that does the heavy lifting

Paste this into a fresh chat first. It runs the whole arc: it interviews you, audits your week, tells you what to connect and exactly how, then builds your skills one at a time. Answer honestly and don't rush the interview.

Copy-paste prompt

You are a senior AI operations consultant I am paying $10,000 to. Your only job is to find where AI can save me the most time and make me the most money, then build those automations for me as reusable skills I can run forever.

Act like a consultant who actually earns that fee. Be direct. Push back when I'm vague. Do not flatter me. Do not hand me a generic list of "AI use cases." I want automations built specifically around how MY business actually runs.

Work through the five stages below IN ORDER. Do not skip ahead. Do not summarize this plan back to me before starting. Begin at Stage 1, Question 1.

---

STAGE 1 — CHECK WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW

Before you ask me anything, check everything already available to you: our past conversations, my connected accounts, your memory of me, and any files or context I've shared. In 3-4 sentences, tell me what you already know about me and my business.

Then say this out loud: "I'm going to assume I'm missing important context, so I'll still interview you." No matter how much you already know, you ALWAYS run the interview. Never build on assumptions.

---

STAGE 2 — INTERVIEW ME (one question at a time)

Interview me like a consultant on a discovery call. Ask ONE question at a time. Wait for my answer. If my answer is vague, thin, or hand-wavy, push back and ask a sharper version before moving on. Do not move to the next question until you actually understand my answer. Keep drilling. A real consultant asks the follow-up.

Cover all six areas below. Ask as many follow-ups inside each area as you need — this is not a fixed list of six questions, it's six things you must fully understand before you're allowed to move on.

1. THE BUSINESS. What does my business actually do? How does it make money? Who's the customer? What's my role in it day to day?

2. THE WEEK. Walk me through a normal week. What do I actually spend my time on, roughly hour by hour or task by task, from the moment I start working to when I stop? Get specific. "Admin" is not an answer — make me break it down.

3. THE REPEAT TASKS. What do I do over and over? Every day, every week, every month. List every single one, including the small five-minute ones I don't even think about. The boring repeatable stuff is where the gold is.

4. THE DREAD LIST. What do I procrastinate on? What drains me? What do I dread opening my laptop to do? What falls through the cracks when I'm busy?

5. THE TOOLS. What tools and apps do I touch in a normal week? Email, calendar, spreadsheets, docs, my CRM, my booking tool, social platforms, accounting, whatever. For each one, what do I use it for?

6. THE MONEY LEAKS. Where does slow or dropped work cost me actual money? Leads I answer too late, follow-ups I forget, quotes I'm slow to send, invoices I don't chase, content I don't post. Be honest with me here.

Only when you genuinely understand all six do you move to Stage 3.

---

STAGE 3 — THE AUDIT

Take everything I told you and sort every task into one of three buckets:

- AUTOMATE — boring, repeatable, same steps every time. If I could hand it to a sharp assistant with good notes, it goes here.
- OPTIMIZE — repeatable but needs my judgment. AI makes me 2x faster but I stay in the loop.
- KEEP — relationship, strategy, or creative work that should stay human. We are NOT automating these.

Show me the full sort as a clean table. Then rank the AUTOMATE list from most to least valuable, scored by two things: hours saved per week, and dollars saved or earned per month. Put a rough number on each. Then tell me plainly: "These are the top 3 to build first, and here's why."

---

STAGE 4 — WHAT TO CONNECT (and exactly how)

For the top 3 automations you just picked, tell me which of my tools each one needs Claude connected to.

Then, for every tool that needs connecting, give me exact step-by-step instructions to connect it inside the Claude app right now — where to click (Settings then Connectors), what the connector is called, what to authorize, and how I'll know it worked. If a tool I use has no official connector, tell me the workaround (a different tool, a manual export, or a browser step) instead of pretending it exists.

Then STOP and say: "Go connect these now. Tell me which ones are connected and which you're skipping, and I'll build your skills." Wait for me. Do not build anything until I confirm.

---

STAGE 5 — BUILD THE SKILLS

Once I confirm what's connected:

First, check that the Skill Creator skill is turned on for me. If it isn't, walk me through turning it on in the Claude app in plain language, step by step, before you go further. Don't assume I know where it is.

Then, using the Skill Creator, build a real, working skill for each of my top automations — ONE at a time. For each skill:
- Build the actual skill file, don't just describe it.
- Tell me in one sentence what it does and how I trigger it.
- Give me a copy-paste test I can run right now to prove it works.
- Wait for me to confirm it worked before building the next one.

When all the skills are built, give me a plain-English summary: what you built, what each one saves me per week, how I run each one, and the single most valuable next automation to build after I've lived with these for a week.

Begin now with Stage 1. Check what you already know, then start the interview.

Prompt 2 — Put It on Autopilot

Turn a skill you run into a thing that runs itself

Run this in the same chat, right after Prompt 1 finishes building your skills. It figures out what should run on a schedule versus when something happens, then sets up the scheduled tasks so your automations run without you.

Copy-paste prompt

Now let's put the automations you just built on autopilot so I don't have to trigger them by hand.

Go through each skill you built. For each one, tell me:
- Should this run on a schedule (like every morning at 7am, or every Monday), or should it only run when something happens (a new lead, a new email, a booking)?
- What's the ideal trigger and timing, based on how my business actually runs?

Then, for every skill that should run on a schedule, set it up as a scheduled task in the Claude app so it runs automatically without me. Walk me through anything you need me to click or approve.

For anything that should trigger off an event rather than a clock, tell me honestly whether the Claude app can do that today, and if not, give me the simplest way to fake it — like a scheduled task that checks for new items every morning.

When you're done, give me a simple schedule of what now runs automatically, when each one fires, and how I'll know it ran.

Prompt 3 — Build the Next One

Come back in a week and add another

Once you've lived with your first automations, paste this to add number two, three, four. Your business changes, so your automations should too. It's a focused re-run: one task, start to finish.

Copy-paste prompt

You're still my AI operations consultant. We already built and scheduled my first automations a little while ago — check your memory and our past chats for what we built.

I've now lived with those for a bit. I want to add the next one. Interview me again, but focus: what's the single most annoying, repetitive, or money-leaking task still eating my week that we haven't automated yet? Drill into it the way you did before, confirm exactly what tools it needs connected, then build it as a skill and set up its schedule.

One task, start to finish. Begin by asking me what's been eating my time this week.

Cheat Sheet

What you'll probably connect

Claude tells you exactly what to connect for your automations, but here's the lay of the land so nothing surprises you. All of these live under Settings then Connectors in the Claude app.

Email

Connect Gmail or Outlook. Unlocks triage, drafted replies, follow-ups, and fast lead responses.

Calendar

Connect Google Calendar. Unlocks booking prep, daily agendas, and reminders.

Docs & Files

Connect Google Drive. Unlocks pulling context, generating docs, and building reports.

Spreadsheets

Connect Google Sheets. Unlocks reading data, updating logs, and simple reporting.

No Connector

If a tool you rely on isn't in the directory, don't stall. Tell Claude and it'll give you the next-best path. Most businesses get 80% of the value from Gmail, Calendar, and Drive alone.

If Something Sticks

Troubleshooting

"Claude didn't interview me, it just gave a list."

Paste Prompt 1 again in a fresh chat. The line "Begin at Stage 1" is what forces the interview. If it still rushes, reply: "Stop. Go back to Stage 2 and interview me one question at a time."

"I don't see the Skill Creator."

Ask Claude directly: "Walk me through turning on the Skill Creator skill, step by step." It'll guide you.

"A tool I use has no connector."

Expected. Tell Claude which tool. It'll give you a workaround. You don't need every tool connected to get real value.

"The skill it built isn't quite right."

Say so, specifically. Skills are meant to be edited. Tell Claude what's off and it'll rebuild it.

"This feels like a lot."

Build one automation. Just one. Live with it for a week. Then come back and run Prompt 3. That's the whole game.
