How To Read This
Every one is free, real, and worth it
None of this is "magic prompt" nonsense. Every repo below is free, open source, and actually does something. A few are for builders, a couple are niche, and I tag each one so you don't waste time installing something that isn't for you.
Click any repo name to open it on GitHub, or hit copy to grab the link. Here's what the tags mean:
Useful even if you've never written a line of code.
Pays off most if you're coding or making things with Claude.
Incredible for the right person. Skip it if that's not you.

Install these first
The ones I'd hand to literally anyone using Claude.
Skills built by the people who made Claude. This is the repo that powers Claude's ability to build real Word docs, PowerPoints, Excel files, and PDFs, plus a stack of creative and technical ones. If you only grab one thing off this list, start here. It's the safest, highest-quality set you can install.
Strips every AI tell out of your writing. No more "here's the thing," no more em dashes, no more robotic patterns that scream ChatGPT. It even scores your draft so you know when it actually sounds human. If you publish anything written with AI, this is non-negotiable.
Microsoft's tool that turns almost any file into clean Markdown Claude can actually read. PDFs, Word docs, PowerPoints, Excel, even YouTube links and audio. Stop uploading messy PDFs and getting garbage back. Convert first, then ask.
Claude's training has a cutoff, so it sometimes gives you outdated code or steps for tools that changed. Context7 pulls the live, current docs for almost any tool or library on demand. You just add "use context7" to your prompt and it stops guessing.

If you live inside a tool
Connect Claude to the apps you already use all day.
Gives Claude full control of your Obsidian vault. It reads, writes, searches, and organizes your notes across 130+ commands. If you run your second brain in Obsidian, this turns Claude into an assistant that works inside your notes instead of just talking about them.
This one's from Kepano, the CEO of Obsidian himself. It teaches Claude the actual Obsidian formats: Markdown, Bases, Canvas, and the CLI. Pair it with the one above and Claude builds clean, native Obsidian notes instead of generic markdown. If Obsidian is your home base, run both.
Lets Claude actually use a real browser. It clicks, fills out forms, and tests your site for you while you watch it work. Pair it with skills and it's genuinely nuts. This is the one that makes people go "wait, it can do that?"

For building and marketing
If you make things, sell things, or both.
The whole kit. Hundreds of battle-tested skills, hooks, commands, and rules that an AI power user built from 10+ months of daily use, all in one install. It's a lot, but if you're serious about Claude Code, this is the deep end most people never find.
40 marketing skills from Corey Haines, packed into Claude. CRO, copywriting, SEO, analytics, email sequences, growth experiments. You just say "optimize this landing page" or "write my homepage copy" and it pulls the right framework. If you do any marketing, this is a cheat code.
A massive, browsable library of ready-to-use agents, commands, skills, and integrations. You browse them on aitmpl.com and install the ones you want with one command. Think of it as an app store for Claude Code. Great when you want capability without building it yourself.
Turns Claude into a project manager for whatever you're building. You hand it a plan, it breaks the work into ordered tasks, tracks them, and tells you what to do next. If your AI builds tend to spiral into chaos halfway through, this keeps them on rails.

Two directories to bookmark
When you want to find the next tool yourself.
A curated directory of the best skills, hooks, commands, and tools for Claude Code. Tens of thousands of people watch this list for a reason. When you want to find something new and good without digging through random repos, this is where you look first.
The master list of MCP servers, the things that connect Claude to outside tools and data. 80k+ stars. Want Claude to talk to your database, your calendar, Stripe, Notion, whatever? You'll find the connector here. This is the map to the whole ecosystem.

The decision tool and the niche pick
One for every big call, one for a very specific person.
Runs your decision past 5 AI advisors who debate it and hand you a verdict. It's like having a board of directors for any tough call. Great for any big AI-assisted decision where you don't want one opinion, you want a fight and a conclusion.
The honest one. Kronos is a free, open-source AI model that forecasts financial markets the same way ChatGPT predicts the next word. To be clear: this is not a money printer, and it won't make you money on its own. But if you already trade or touch finance, it's a seriously powerful data-analysis tool. Right audience only.
