Make Your Resume
Un-Rejectable

The exact prompts I used to turn a generic resume into one that actually gets callbacks. Copy, paste, done. People have been running these everywhere, and one person on Reddit got 4 interviews in 24 hours.

3 Prompts · 1 Bonus · Copy-Paste Ready

How It Works

The whole system is three prompts

Most resumes don't get rejected because the person isn't qualified. They get rejected because the resume is vague, missing the right keywords, and impossible to skim, so it dies in the first six seconds, often before a human even sees it.

These three prompts fix all of that. The first one audits your resume like a recruiter who's about to pass on you. The second rewrites it to land. The third makes sure it survives the skim.

Open Claude. Have your resume and the job description ready. Then run them in order. There's a bonus at the end that applies to jobs for you, plus one rule at the very bottom that you cannot skip.

Prompt 1

Get the brutal recruiter audit

Upload your resume and the job description first. Then paste this:

Copy-paste prompt

Act as a senior recruiter for this exact company. Analyze my resume against this job description and give me a match score out of 100, the top 5 missing keywords, and the 3 red flags a hiring manager would spot in under 10 seconds.

You now know your score, exactly what you’re missing, and what’s quietly getting you rejected before a human ever reads it.

Prompt 2

Rewrite the experience section

Once you have the audit, run this next:

Copy-paste prompt

Rewrite my experience section to naturally include those keywords and remove the red flags. Use the Google XYZ formula: Accomplished X as measured by Y by doing Z.

The XYZ formula is why this works. “Managed social media” becomes “Grew Instagram from 2K to 40K followers in 6 months by launching a daily short-form system.” Specific. Measurable. Impossible to skim past.

Prompt 3

Pass the 6-second scan

Now pressure-test the new version:

Copy-paste prompt

Now act as an ATS filter and a hiring manager reading 200 resumes in one sitting. Scan my new resume and tell me which sections would get skipped, then rewrite them so they actually stop the scroll.

This is the step most people miss. A great resume that gets skimmed past does nothing. This makes sure the right lines actually land in the six seconds you get.

Bonus

Let Claude apply for you

This one runs in Claude Cowork. Once your resume is dialed in, paste:

Copy-paste prompt

Now that my resume is optimized, go to my LinkedIn and apply to 10 jobs I have the highest chance of landing an interview for. Customize the application for each one based on the job description.

Claude literally applies to jobs while you sleep. Check the matches it picks before it submits. You still want a human eye on where you’re applying.

The one rule: keep it actually yours

This is the most important part of the whole guide, so don't skip it.

After you run all three prompts, read every single line and make sure it's still true. Every number, every result, every project: it has to be something you actually did.

Claude is sharpening how you say it. It is not inventing what you did. The second you let it add accomplishments that aren't real, two things happen:

  • You can't back it up in the interview, and that's where it falls apart fast.
  • It starts sounding like every other AI-generated resume in the pile. Generic, polished, hollow. Recruiters can smell it now.

The whole edge here is that your resume is true to you and finally reads that way. Sharpen the language. Add the real metrics you forgot to include. Cut the red flags. But keep it 100% yours.

Do that, and you don't have a "ChatGPT resume." You have the resume you should've had all along.
